"We were introduced by a mutual friend one night and instantly hit it off. We went on our first date to California Pizza Kitchen a few nights later and knew there was something special between us. Brandon proposed November 4, 2012. After a long day of tailgating and a disappointing LSU loss to Bama the previous day, we decided to have a relaxing Sunday. We went to lunch at Capital City Grill in Downtown Baton Rouge with Kayla's brother and sister in law. Brandon had given them a heads up that he would be popping the question. After lunch we posed for pictures by the fountains where Brandon popped the question beginning an exciting new chapter in our relationship!"
